Dobbs, who’s performed in five career matches, could back up rookie Gardner Minshew. Minshew completed 22 of 25 passes for 275 yards within his NFL debut Sunday.
Minshew substituted Foles at the initial quarter and completed 88 percent of his moves, getting the most accurate single-game passer at Jaguars history (minimum 25 attempts).
His completion percentage was the greatest for any participant with 15 pass efforts.
His clavicle was broken by foles on Jacksonville’s 10th offensive play of the year. He was struck and landed while casting a 35-yard TD pass to DJ Chark.
