Neal Skupski along with britain’s Jamie Murray recovered from a set down from Americans Jack Sock and Jackson Withrow to reach the semi-finals of the men’s doubles at the US Open.
Battling back from a break in the third group, Murray and Skupski rallied to win 4-6 6-1 7-6 (7-4) on Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Even the 15th seeds have won eight of their previous 11 games as a pair.
Murray is also in mixed doubles semi-finals activity.
Partnering American Bethanie Mattek-Sands, the defending winners confront Rajeev Ram and seeds Samantha Stosur to get a place at the final.
Meanwhile, Britain’s Luke Bambridge, along with Japan’s Ben McLachlan, will competition a US Open quarter-final against Robert Farah along with high seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal, with the winner of the game meeting Skupski and Murray from the past four.
The US Open is currently Murray and Skupski’s next Grand Slam outing as a doubles pairing, with exited Wimbledon in the first round.
Scot Murray, 33, has lifted a title each year at Flushing Meadows because 2016.
He even won the men’s doubles together with Martina Hingis using the mixed doubles in 2017 and Bruno Soares at 2016 and in 2018.
At 4-3 up from the initial against Sock and Withrow, the Britons missed and were instantly punished as the Americans broke at the next game.
