The Inconvenient Truth combined Buffalo this offseason after a one-year stint with his hometown Miami Dolphins. The decision to jump into the AFC East rival, Gore says, was a simple one.
“It was the next year where they arrived after me,” Gore said. “They showed that they wanted me . At my age, especially in this league, you would like to be wanted. That is a element that [went to the decision], particularly coming from an injury.”
Gore is linking a Bills RB room headed by fellow veteran LeSean McCoy and also populated by rookie Devin Singletary and former Jaguars rear T.J. Yeldon. It’s unclear how carries or touches will be divided among the tailbacks at Orchard Park.
Currently fourth on the all time racing list with 14,478 yards, Gore is only 521 rushing yards behind Lions legend Barry Sanders for third and 1,978 metres behind Bears great Walter Payton for moment. Surpassing Sanders ought to be achievable in 2019, while passing Payton could require two or three more years.
