Home Run Derby Baseball Odds and Predictions

 In Uncategorized

With everybody hitting a lot of home runs, it may look like the Derby field would be as open as you can. First, you have to take into consideration the ball park, and every one of the participant’s background in that particular park. This year’s game is currently in Washington therefore the clear favorite would be Washington Nationals slugger Bryce Harper. It hasn’t been a fantastic season for Harper in terms of batting average, but he is still among the league leaders in home runs. Harper has said he will participate in the Home Run Derby if he makes the All-Star team. “So count me in for the Derby if and only if I make the team,” Harper said to the Washington Post. “But if I do I’ll be a participant at the 2019 HR Derby.”
Another participant to consider in the Home Run Derby if he’s chosen is rookie Juan Soto of their Nationals. He has shown excellent power this season and has moved into the cleanup spot in the lineup for Washington. He hit a home run across the second deck at Nationals Park before this season.
If you are looking beyond the two hometown heroes, you may want to consider players that have played Nationals Park over only a couple of times. J.D. Martinez leads the American League in home runs and that he played with in the National League until last season. He could be a fantastic choice if he chooses to engage. And remember about Jesus Aguilar of the Brewers, as he’s behind Harper because of its direct in National League home runs and youthful star Ozzie Albies of the Braves who is making his mark this season.
