Sizing John set for hurdles run says Harrington
Jessica Harrington will consider a comeback run over hurdles because of the long-absent Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Sizing John.
The nine-year-old finished the blue riband in Cheltenham the treble of the Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown and the Punchestown Gold Cup at the first half 2017.
Although he created a flying start to the next campaign in the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase, he frustrated on the Christmas time at Leopardstown and injuries have kept him off the track ever since.
While unsurprisingly cautious of planning Harrington reports Sizing John in health at present.
Sizing John is good. He is hacking and that I thought hed tightened up a good bit, explained the Moone handler.
Weve not made any plans, but we could do something like that (run over hurdles) as he has been off the trail for nearly two years.
He looks well and and is going amazing .
The other Hunt star of harrington is your Supasundae that is admirable.
The gelding maintained his victory in last seasons Aintree Hurdle.
Supasundae is grand and performing his normal thing it always takes a long time to get him ready, Harrington added.
He would visit the Hattons Grace at Fairyhouse in early December, or we may even wait till Christmas.
We know he is a excellent spring horse
