Thursday Europa League BTTS Acca
My ancient kick-off BTTS pick is Spartak Moscow v Thun.
Spartak wound up 3-2 winners in the first legbut I am confident this won’t be the conclusion of their goals. Last season in the Europa League, Spartak conceded eight goals in their home games (and also scored eight) from Villarreal, Rangers and Rapid Wien.
After such a crazy early leg, a borefest does seem improbable –particularly with Thun having to score at least twice–and judging from Spartak’s recent home battles in Europe, it seems a good possibility.
13 of Thun’s 18 home games in Switzerland last year saw both teams score, which this is really a choice I like.
Later on, I have Braga v Brondby additionally viewing both teams score.
After their first-leg ended 4-2 in Braga’s favour, then it is another fixture that’s filled with BTTS guarantee.
Brondby have played five Europa League qualifiers this season–from FC Inter, Lechia Gdansk along with the aforementioned Braga–and only one of these matches have noticed a side maintain a clean sheet.
The first leg against Braga revealed either side are very much attack-minded.
Like previously, Brondby need to score, and that should result in an open game.
My selection is Rangers v Midtjylland.
Steven Gerrard’s guys registered a breaking 4-2 away win in the first legbut it is always safe to back BTTS when both of these are concerned.
16 goals are scored at end through Rangers’ last few matches, and it’s normally foolish to assume they will continue to keep a clean sheet.
As for Midtjylland, they’ve kept just one clean sheet in their last 16 Europa League matches, together with 11 of the last 13 watching both teams rating.
