KLM Open: Sergio Garcia two back from leader Scott Jamieson
Scott Jamieson fired a 65 to open a two-shot lead in which Sergio Garcia is part of the chasing pack.
Pull clear of this team of four players sharing next and the Scot published seven birdies for to 11 under.
Garcia is among these on nine under after following an opening-round 68 with English trio Matt Southgate, James Morrison and Callum Shinkwin two off the speed, with a 67.
Out as one of the starters, Jamieson left his move up the leaderboard by carding three birdies and selecting up a shot in the 10th.
Back-to-back birdies from the 14th gave Jamieson the outright lead, before the entire world took good advantage of this last to double his advantage.
Morrison and shinkwin both got under before bogeying their ninth while Southgate posted a four-under 68 along with Garcia birdied three of his final five holes.
Denmark’s Nicolai Hojgaard and sit back three strokes and Sam Horsfield share sixth place, with 17 players.
Patrick Reed is about three beneath defending champion Ashun Wu, whereas Martin Kaymer and Lee Westwood were among the notable titles to overlook the cut.
