Nick Foles injury sees Jacksonville Jaguars acquire Josh Dobbs from Pittsburgh
The Jacksonville Jaguars have acquired quarterback Josh Dobbs at a trade with Pittsburgh.
The Jaguars gave up their choice from the 2020 draft for Dobbs, that had been in his third season with the Steelers. He had been a choice in 2017.
Could back up rookie Gardner Minshew. Sunday, minshew completed 22 of 25 passes for 275 yards in his NFL debut.
Minshew substituted Foles at the initial quarter and completed 88 per cent of his passes, becoming the most precise single-game passer in Jaguars history (minimum 25 attempts).
His completion percentage was the greatest for any player with at least 15 pass attempts earning his NFL debut.
His clavicle that was left broke on the 10th offensive play of this season of Jacksonville. He landed and was hit while casting a 35-yard TD pass.
The Jaguars placed Foles on injured reserve. If He’s advised Foles will be eligible to return to clinic October and will be eligible to play in Week 11
