Raffle Prize will Plan to resume winning ways at the Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket.

Mark Johnston’s filly has had a year winning the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and the Duke of Cambridge Stakes.
She shot around the last time outside from the Prix Morny, dropping in defeat when beaten a neck by the new star Earthlight of Andre Fabre.
Johnston stated:”She will wait for the Cheveley Park today. It was a fantastic run and also there were not any excuses.
“It looked like she would much prefer much better ground, but that might apply to this winner.
“You would expect she would get much better ground in Newmarket, as there is not any better fall path than Newmarket. Everything is nice with her, touch wood”
Stablemate Communique could yet return to Germany in search of a first Group One victory – but Johnston is also considering Japan Cup and the Canadian International using a line through his run behind the highly-impressive Ghaiyyath.
“He essentially missed the rest dramatically with the blindfold still on this that was not him,” said that the Middleham handler.
“There is the Grosser Preis Von Baden in two weeks’ time, however could we dare shoot him back after two crises at Germany? I really don’t understand. I’ve not actually looked at what the alternatives are.
“I would like to watch him end the year in the Canadian International along with Japan Cup, however I would have liked to be moving into these races away a leading run. We have had two disasters, although I’d love to believe he could have won a Group One in Germany.
“You’d think that the Canadian International would be a suitable goal, but also you wish to be going into these races on the rear of good runs.”
