FIFA unveils official 2022 World Cup emblem

FIFA has unveiled the official emblem.
Launched in the nation’s capital Doha, thousands of audiences witnessed the synchronised projection of this emblem on several the country’s most iconic buildings.
It was broadcast on big screens including London’s Leicester Square, Canary Wharf and Westfield.
The swooping curves of the logo represent the undulations of the unbroken loop and desert slopes depicts the amount eight – games.
And with the tournament occurring between December and November for the first time in its history, the emblem’s central type takes inspiration from some woollen shawl.
Shawls are worn and in Gulf and the Arab region by a variety of individuals and in various styles.
The typeface conventional Arabic calligraphy at a new font, taking inspiration from Asia and the region, and fusing tradition with modernity.
The Gulf nation won the right to stage that the 2022 World Cup using the stadium set to be ready in December 2010, Al Janoub, this year, hosting its first match.
The venues have been scheduled to be finished prior to the end of 2020, such as the Lusail Stadium, which will host the opening match on November 21, as well as the final on December 18, 2022.
