New ground will be broken by joseph O’Brien when saddling his first two runners at Yarmouth at the EBF Stallions John Musker Fillies’ Stakes.
The Classic-winning rider-turned-trainer is going to be reflected at the feature 10-furlong Listed prize at the Norfolk course by Cnoc An Oir and Snapraeceps.
It will be the second time this year that the two stablemates have raced against each other last month after the couple finished down the field at Gowran Park.
O’Brien explained:”All these are my very first runners in the monitor but it is all about looking to get some black kind with them and also this race fitted in. They can run well.
“They’re equally well-bred fillies and therefore are reaching a level where they want black type now.
“They ran nice races out last time and this is not quite as competitive as the business they have been keeping.
“The excursion is slightly farther for both of these but I think that they ought to be OK over it because they are just two simple fillies.”
Maid For Life has become a model of consistency all season and after finishing second behind the reopposing Gallic on her very first start over the trip at Chelmsford last time out trainer Charlie Fellowes is confident the daughter of Nathaniel can turn the tables and also be in the shake up.
Fellowes stated:”She ought to have probably won as she had been in front just before the line and after it but just online her head was up.
“She had been carrying a lot of weight that day and we’ve got a gigantic swing at the weights with the one that beat her.
“I took her to a track she enjoys to determine if she stays the trip and she’d settled and did everything well and that I had this race in your mind later.
“She has got a bit to find with Fanny Logan however we’re taking a look at black type and on ratings she’s got a good chance to get some.”
Connections of time outside Chelmsford scorer Inference, among two runners in the race for John Gosden along with Fanny Logan, expect by taking a step up in class in her 40, she could build on that success.
Chris Richardson, racing manager to owners Cheveley Park Stud, said:”She is a filly that does not do much in your home.
“it’s an opportunity to determine where we reside level-wise with her and she prefers to take her opportunity.
“They have had a bit of rain but it has not been too much since she likes top of this floor .”
George Scott is looking forward to giving the chance to test her skill in a level that is greater after submitting a critical success at Doncaster last time to Moll Davis outside.
Scott said:”She was quite unlucky at Glorious Goodwood and when she’d won race her form would seem very powerful. As we saw in Doncaster, she is improving all the time.
“I’m quite looking forward to see the way she’s taken the step up in grade. Very good floor will be fine for her so there is not much concern there.
“At this time we don’t have many high quality horses at the yard and she’s head and shoulders above everything else and if we’ve got a good one she’s it I’m expecting her to run a nice race.”
