Manchester United transfer targets: Mario Mandzukic and Callum Wilson high on strikers list
Mario Mandzukic along with Callum Wilson are high amongst Manchester Uniteds striker targets ahead of the January transfer window.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confessed the team will look to sign a new goalscorer and Sky Sports News understands theyre continuing to monitor Juventus Mandzukic and the Wilson of Bournemouth.
Mandzukic, 33, will soon be available when the window re-opens after turning down moves to United, Paris Saint-Germain and a club at Qatar based on Sky in Italy.
The Croatian has just less than two years remaining on his deal and wasnt contained in Juventus Champions League group also hasnt played yet under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
Wilson, 27, has over three years left on his Cherries bargain but would fall based on Uniteds plan of attempting to recruit top English ability – and hes scored five goals in seven Premier League matches throughout Bournemouths impressive start to the campaign.
Sky Sports News reported that Lyons Moussa Dembele was another player on Uniteds record since they considered replacements for Romelu Lukaku, who they offered to Inter Milan.
Lukaku was in Juventus as well as based on Sky from Italy in July, United and the Italian team discussed a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala – a leading goal for Tottenham and a participant who has made two starts that term beneath Sarri.
