Leeds duo Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas commit long-term futures to the club
Stuart Dallas and leeds duo Liam Cooper are the latest players to commit their futures into the club.
Club captain Cooper has authored a brand fresh five-year deal at Elland Road working until the summer of 2024, although Dallas has agreed a new four-year contract until the summer of 2023.
Leeds have now signed three players on deals after Kalvin Phillips committed to fend off interest.
Cooper has showcased in a six league games for Leeds this year, helping three sheets are secured by his side along with his impressive performances made his first international caps for Scotland over the weekend.
Cooper reserved special praise for the effect that the along with his director Marcelo Bielsa has had in his career, after registering his contract.
“Since the first day that Marcelo and his staff have come to their attention to detail, the way that they work together with the staff each and every day, and also the way that they demand things continues to be another level for mepersonally,” Cooper told Sky Sports.
“It’s brought me leaps and bounds since a person and as a participant and I invite Marcelo and his staff for that.”
Dallas has collected looks for the club in all contests, netting 15 goals and joined Leeds from fellow Championship side Brentford in 2015.
“It’s been excellent to be compelled to feel welcome and I am thrilled,” Dallas said. “It is a great club to be at and is where I call home.
“It is not just for me, but for my family as well, and I am delighted they’ve given me this chance to stay.”
